SLPP wants Prez to discuss 13A with religious leaders

The ruling Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has suggested that President and National Policies Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe should hold discussions on implementing the 13th Amendment to the Constitution with politicians and other parties, including Buddhist monks and religious leaders.
SLPP General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam emphasized that involving religious leaders in the discussions is essential as they have played a significant role in addressing national issues.
The 13th Amendment aims to devolve power to provincial councils in Sri Lanka.
