President’s India visit: Foreign Min. Sabry briefs on visit’s outcome

During President Ranil Wickremesinghe's recent visit to India, several agreements were reached with the Indian government. 

 

 

Discussions covered topics such as setting up a university in Nuwara Eliya, acquiring technical knowledge for agriculture and animal husbandry, and addressing fishing industry issues. 

 

 

Both countries agreed to cooperate in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) for mutual security. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between Sri Lanka and India.
