Two injured in shooting at Minuwangoda

In a concerning incident in Boragodawatte, Minuwangoda, two individuals were injured and hospitalized due to a shooting. According to the Police, a group of unidentified individuals arrived in a car. It opened fire on two people riding a motorcycle on Saturday night (17). 

 

 

The motorcycle and pillion rider sustained injuries from the shooting and were initially admitted to the Minuwangoda Hospital. Later, they were transferred to the Gampaha Hospital for further medical treatment.

 

 

The victims, aged 33 and 43, receive medical care, and their conditions are being monitored. The motive behind the shooting remains unknown, and the Police are conducting investigations to determine the circumstances and identify those responsible for the incident.
