A circulation to issue NICs for the ones with no birth certificates

Citizens with no birth certificates will have Sri Lankan National Identity Card under the new procedure of the Department for Registration of Persons.

The Commissioner General of the department stated that the circular including the instructions regarding the process has been sent to all the Divisional Secretaries and the Grama Niladhari Officers.
