Buddhi Prabodha; the journalist; the activist is found dead

Buddhi Prabodha Karunaratne; the young activist has passed away. He was found dead yesterday when he was in his 30s.

 

The cause of the death is not yet reported although he is suspected to have died by committing suicide.

 

He took part in several protests that were carried out to highlight the hardships faced by people and he was a key ‘GotaGoGama’ activist.

 

Several years ago he worked as a journalist attached to a newspaper.
