Three updates from Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara
- The last 7 days’ data shows a significant improvement in fuel sales & sales through the National Fuel Pass QR system.
- The overall percentages which were below 60% last week show an improvement up to 80% and above with the temporary suspension of 66 fuel stations, that did not adhere to the NFP QR guidelines.
- During the festive season, as scheduled fuel distribution would be increased to 4650 MT of Petrol 92 & 5500 MT of Auto Diesel per day
