An 11-year-old child died in a motor accident

In the Angamuwa area, an 11-year-old schoolboy died in a motor accident.

 

The incident took place on the Munamaldeniya- Katupotha Road in Hettipola last afternoon.

 

According to police statements, the boy met with the accident when he was attempting to cross the road behind the bus after disembarking from the bus. The child had been knocked down by a mini lorry.

 

The child was reported dead after admitting to the Kuliyapitiya hospital due to injuries.
