An allowance of Rs. 5,000 to cover the cost of online teaching - Dinesh Gunawardena

The Minister of Education Dinesh Gunawardena said that teachers and principals will be given Rs. 5,000 for two months to cover the cost of online tuition.

Their salaries will be paid in four stages, he said.

However, the cabinet ministers also agreed to resolve their salary disparities, he added.
