Delta goes from village to village

Dr. Chandima Jeewandara of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura said that by now the Delta variety has begun to spread to other parts of the country.

He also said that the Delta variety that is currently spreading in Colombo is as high as 100%.

He added that some relief could be expected by the end of September due to the ongoing vaccination.
