46 Sri Lankans leave from Afghanistan

Of the 86 Sri Lankans in Afghanistan, 46 are scheduled to visit Sri Lanka and 20 have agreed to stay in Afghanistan.

The Foreign Ministry further stated that the government is paying close attention to the current situation in Afghanistan.

The Foreign Ministry has also requested the United States, Britain and several other countries to assist in the expulsion of Sri Lankans from the country.
