Covid for thirty Pirivena monks

The Kandy District Medical Officer of Health said that 30 monks of the Hanthana Pirivena in the Hanthana area in Kandy, where 60 monks are studying Dhamma, have been infected with Covid.

The health department further said that the condition of the 30 monks who were infected with Covid was not so serious and steps were taken to treat them at the Pirivena.
