A request to donate blood

Due to the declining number of blood units in the blood transfusion centers, people who are able to donate blood are requested to take action.

Dr. Lakshman Edirisinghe, Director of the Blood Transfusion Center, says that the number of daily blood transfusions to blood transfusion centers and other centers has decreased due to the rapidly spreading Covid virus.

He also said that people who wish to donate blood can make an appointment by calling 0115332153 and 0115332154.
