The U.S. military has launched a drone strike on Islamic State militants in response to two recent bombings near Kabul airport.

The Pentagon has announced that the drone strike targeted an ISK-linked organization in eastern Afghanistan.

The Islamic State (ISK) has claimed responsibility for two recent bombings.
