A foreign fishing vessel with a stock of heroin has been arrested

The Sri Lanka Navy has arrested a foreign fishing vessel carrying a stock of illicit heroin in the sea border in Sri Lanka.

A Navy spokesman said that the vessel was taken ashore in the South Seas during a special operation conducted by the Sri Lanka Navy and further investigations are being carried out.
