FSPer denies fear of recording CID statement

Duminda Nagamuwa from the Frontline Socialist Party (FSP) denied allegations that he is hiding from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) after accusing the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) and Public Security Minister Tiran Alles of investing money in a European island.

Alles had lodged a complaint against Nagamuwa's claim and stated he had already provided a statement to the CID.

Alles claimed that the CID was unable to locate Nagamuwa to record a statement. Nagamuwa refuted this, saying he has attended public events recently and challenged Alles to prove his allegations.

Nagamuwa had accused the JVP and Alles of investing in a European island during a media briefing.
