The engine says "bye" to the compartment and keeps going

The engine compartment of the Samudradevi train, which was running from Galle to Maradana has separated from the train in Kalutara- North area today (April 09).

 

The incident has occurred today’s morning between Kalutara North railway station and Railway station No.01, according to the railway authority. The engine of the train has separated from the train and it has run nearly for a distance of one kilometer.

 

It has taken around 15 minutes to restore the operation of the train, The Department of Railways stated.
