Salaries to all public employees before 10 April

"The salaries of all public employees will be paid before 10 April." State Minister of Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitya has assured speaking to the media in Kegalle.

 

Due to the upcoming festive season, salaries of all public servants will be paid before 10 April in spite of the burden it would force on the government's cash flow. Further added Siyambalapitiya. 

 

Accordingly, both pensions and the Samurdhi allowances also are to be paid before the 10th of April.

 

Finally, he added that necessary measures are also under process to allocate government employees with a special bonus by the final quarter of this year.
