The Bibile – Monaragala main road is obstructed by the protestors of Bible Godigamuwa Vidyalaya

Urging the authorities to address the shortage of teachers in the school, the students of Godigamuwa Vidyalaya in Bibile participated in a protest today.

 

Not only the students but also their parents surrounded the Bibile Zonal Education office calling for a solution to the issue.

 

The issue they were addressing was a long-lasting one and it resulted in the protest of nearly 5 hours obstructing the Bibile – Monaragala main road.

 

The Bibile Zonal Educational Director Susil Wijethilake responded to the inquiry that a discussion will be scheduled with the parents of the students to solve the problem soon.
