Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Central, Uva and North-Western provinces and in Trincomalee and Mullaitivu districts during the afternoon or night. Fairly heavy showers above 50mm are likely in some places.

Showers may occur in Galle and Matara districts during the morning too.
