Wijedasa Rajapaksha comforted by Mahinda

Wijedasa Rajapaksha who took some personal swipes on the President and his brother Basil received a strongly worded response from the president and according to him he had responded in a similar manner. According to the Sunday Times, the matter had not stopped there but Wjedadasa had called Prime  Minister Mahinda Rajapaksha

 

As Sunday Ties columnist reports the  Premier told MP Rajapakshe “even if the President scolded you, he does not bear that grudge. He is particularly good hearted. Hence, you should not bear such issues in mind. You must forget that episode.”

 

It is observed that Wijedasa Rajapaksha who is notorious for switching parties is settled for the moment. Fellow parliamentarians have been careful not to comment on the matter.
