A trip to Colombo

After meeting at the Negambo bus stand they decided to take a trip to Colombo and on the way, lakmal managed to drug the women by inducing sleeping tablets to a drink. However, as she was becoming drowsy Lakmal was able to get the bank card and the PIN no of the bank card from the women.

Later when she awoke Lakmal had vanished with the money in the handbag and withdrawn 20000 from the women’s bank account. The Negambo police obtained CCTV footage of Lakmal and used women Police Constable Ramya to phone Lakmal and develop an intimate relationship over the phone.
