S B cornered by parliamentary colleague

S.B. Dissanayake, who was sidelined when ministerial portfolios were assigned, would have faced a difficult time at the parliamentary group meeting if he was present.

Fellow Parliamentarians accused him of violating party discipline and practices, by criticizing the government and ministers and the President when he met the chief prelate of the Gatambe temple.

S B Dissanayaka revealed details of a meeting with President Gotabaya Rajapaksha and said that he told the president has not been able to deliver on the promises that he had made.

Anuradhapura District parliamentarian and Lands Minister S. M. Chandrasena alleged that Mr Dissanayake had criticized Education Minister G. L. Peiris in a disgraceful way as he said that Pieris is just doing nothing.
