The number of corona patients in Katunayake has increased

Gampaha District Regional Health Services Director Dr. Nalin Ariyaratne said that 111 cases of Covid were reported from Katunayake yesterday and that number has increased compared to the previous days.

The Seeduwa Medical Officer of Health Division identified 65 Covid patients yesterday and the total number of Covid patients identified so far is 4,079.

Health officials in charge of the area said that several other steps have been taken to control the situation, including speeding up the vaccination program in the area.
