The highest number of corona infections was reported from the Matale district yesterday

Two thousand four hundred and fifty Covid patients were reported from this country yesterday alone and the highest number of 311 infected persons were reported from the Matale District.

Yesterday, 293 Covid patients were reported from the Colombo district, 223 from Kalutara, 189 from Kandy, 176 from the Ampara district, 167 from the Batticaloa district and 142 from the Gampaha district.

Out of the total number of corona infections in the country, 282,770 patients have been cured and 28,870 patients are being treated.
