The door is always open - Mahinda

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa said that “The door is always open for them to go” when he was asked about those who are criticizing the government from within. The premier responded to the media who asked him about those who have criticized the current regime in public.
Parliamentarians Wijedasa Rajapaksha and S B Dissanayaka both who did not get ministerial portfolios have openly criticized the government and the disgruntled SLFP fires occasional salvos.
Anybody has the democratic right to criticize the government. However, if those within its fold want to flay the very regime they are part of, they are free to quit and do it to their heart’s content, he noted.
“If they want to become popular by censuring the government, they can take whatever decision they like without flaying the government while remaining within its fold”, Rajapaksa stressed.
