Army soldier commits suicide

It is reported that the victim was an Army soldier attached to the 12th Gemunu Watch.

  Military Spokesman Nilantha Premaratne stated that the suspect, a resident of the Urubokka area in Matara, had opened fire with his firearm while on night patrol.

The reason for his suicide has not been revealed yet.
