A warning about the risk of wedding clusters

Although the Ministry of Health has allowed weddings with a maximum of 150 participants or limited seating capacity, there is a possibility of a 'wedding bunch' if health guidelines are not followed during weddings, the Army Commander warned.

According to reports, weddings have been held in excess of the prescribed capacity, especially in areas outside the Western Province.

The Commanding Officer said that the public should act responsibly when the daily number of Kovid patients exceeds 1500 and the situation could be dangerous if the instructions are misused.
