2020 General Election : SLPP secures victory in Polonnaruwa District with 4 seats

The National Election Commission has released the final results of the Polonnaruwa District.

 

Accordingly,  Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has secured a victory in the Polonnaruwa District with  180,847 votes (73.66%) while winning 04 seats.

 

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) came in second, polling 47,781 votes (19.46%) , giving them only 01 seat from the district.

 

In the meantime, Jathika Jana Balawegaya (JJB) emerged  third with 6792 votes (2.77%) while the United National Party (UNP) managed to secure the fourth place with 6,525 votes (2.66%).
