Ministry of Education releases school calendar and examination dates for 2023

The Ministry of Education has released the school calendar for the second and third terms of 2023, including essential examination dates. The second term will have a holiday from 18 August to 27 August, with classes resuming on 28 August until 27 October. 

 

 

The Grade Five Scholarship Examination is set for 15 October. After the exam, schools will reopen on 30 October until 24 November, followed by holidays from 25 November to 31 December. 

 

 

The GCE Advanced Level (A/L) examination is scheduled from 27 November to 21 December. The third term will begin on 1 January and end on 16 February.
