University of Colombo Advances in THE Impact Rankings 2023

In the latest edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) impact rankings, released in June 2023, the University of Colombo has made notable progress by securing a position between 401st and 600th. 

 

 

The THE Impact Rankings evaluate universities worldwide based on their performance concerning the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and serve as a global benchmark.

 

 

This year's rankings include 1591 universities from 112 countries/regions. Compared to the previous year, the University of Colombo has shown significant improvement, placing between 601st and 800th in the overall ranking. 

 

 

This progress reflects the university's continuous efforts in research, teaching, community outreach, and other relevant domains over the past few years. The University of Colombo's enhanced performance has contributed to its improved position in this year's rankings.
