Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Sabaragamuwa Province and in Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts. Fairly heavy showers above 50mm are likely in some places in these areas.

 

Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Western, Southern, Central, North-Western, Uva and North-Central provinces and in the Matale district during the afternoon or night.

 

Mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere over the island.

 

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
