Specialists query Health Min. action against such

The Ministry of Health intends to take legal action against medical professionals who migrate without proper permission. Concerns have arisen among specialists regarding the treatment of those transitioning from government to private hospitals. 

 

 

Around 120 medical officers who returned after specialist training allegedly migrated without adhering to service contracts. The ministry aims to address this issue. 

 

 

A senior specialist doctor has called for proper permissions for transitions to private hospitals and resolving root causes pushing professionals to leave. 

 

 

The ministry's Secretary stated action would be taken against those leaving without notice. Becoming a specialist involves government-sponsored training; many returning specialists have migrated without permission.
