Vehicle owners in a big risk.

 

The government has been launching various projects to sustain the country economically and also socially amidst the severe outbreak of Corona which has affected the people's life in numerous ways.

 

Among all, ban of importing vehicles was a huge topic among the society.But later on the decision was understood as made upon the well being of the country in different aspects.

 

But recently i has been known that a new cabinet paper is laid down about assembling vehicles for sale using the parts of already used vehicles.It will cause many conflicts and a huge violation of rules, if the above mentioned paper is going to be appproved. CMTA ( Ceylon Motor Traders Association) is extremely worried about such a step and protest it. This may cause severe issues on vehicle consuners' perspective. They will face many issues on the quality, safety and also the durability of the vehicles they purchase. Yet the reselling price of such vehicles can be lower in a considerable amount and the consumers will be bulled.
