A special request to the Covid-19 vaccinated public.

The public who have been vaccinated against Covid- 19 are specially requested to act against any need to pay for the vaccination during the vaccination drive in the Colombo city limits. She further requested that public can make complaints regarding such situations to the nearest police station, the Bribery Commission or the Colombo Municipal Council.

 

The statement was made by her when she was inquired by the media about an alleged extortion which had taken place during Covid vaccination programmes.

 

However she stated that she has not been made aware of such a situation still, but if anyone can come out with proofs, the necessary legal actions will be launched against relevant parties.
