The body of the deceased Ishalini is being exhumed today

The body of Ishalini, who was burnt to death while working as a servant at the house of MP Rishad Bathiudeen, is to be exhumed today for a second post mortem following an order issued by the Colombo Magistrate's Court.

The Nuwara Eliya Magistrate's Court ordered the police to exhume the body buried at the Hatton Dayagama West Cemetery before a second post mortem.

Accordingly, the body of the girl is due to be taken to the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital at 8.30 this morning under heavy security.
