Section of Southern Expressway temporarily closed due to landslide

Sri Lanka Police stated that a section of the Southern Expressway was temporarily closed off due to a minor landslide.

 

A portion from Imaduwa  to Pinnaduwa areas has been closed off  as  a landslip had taken place in the area, disturbing the vehicular traffic on the highway, on July 20.

 

Motorists are urged to use alternative roads and the police have taken taken necessary steps to direct the vehicles on the expressway to the exits of the above areas.
