Tipper truck driver that ran over the three police officers arrested

Sri Lanka Police arrested the hit-and-run tipper truck driver that ran over three police officers, killing one police constable and injuring two other sergeants severely.

 

Police Media Spokesman SSP Jaliya Senaratne said that the arrest has been made at Hungama on July 14.

 

The 34 year old arrestee is a resident of Uhapitagoda in Ambalanthota. 

 

The suspect will be produced at the Matara Magistrate Court on July 15.

 

Further investigations are being conducted by Hakmana Police Station.
