Movement in several areas in Rajanganaya suspended

Director General of Health Services, Dr. Anil Jasinghe stated that movement in several areas in Rajanganaya was restricted with effect from July 13.

 

The said areas are at track 1, track 2 and track 5 in Rajanganaya.

 

He added that if the individuals who attended the funeral and almsgiving in Rajanganaya, which was also attended by a person who tested positive for COVID-19, followed the guidelines set by the health authorities as required, the currrent scenario could have been prevented.
