Red flag for diaspora Tamil agitators

The Government has waved a red flag to the Tamil diaspora that is critical on Sri Lanka.

 

The Global Tamil Forum (GTF), British Tamil Forum (BTF), Canadian Tamil Congress (CTC), Australian Tamil Congress (ATC), National Council of Canadian Tamil,  Tamil Youth Organization and the World Tamil Coordinating Committee have been proscribed by the government of SrI Lanka.

 

They have been banned under Regulation 4(7) of the United Nations Regulations No. 1 of 2012 and signed by the Defense secretary.

 

Most of these organizations are influential in lobbying the Tamil cause and some of them are well-connected wealthy entities.
