Red Alert Weather Warning

Showers are likely to intensify throughout the island's south western and western regions over the following few days.

Showers or thundershowers are expected in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, North-Western, and Southern provinces, as well as the Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts, at times. Heavy showers of up to 100 mm are possible in certain areas.
