Nimali Liyanarachchi has qualified for the Olympics in Tokyo.

Nimali Liyanarachchi of Sri Lanka has qualified for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo in the 800m Women's event.

Nimali Liyanarachchi qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games by Universality Place, according to the National Olympic Committee, and she will compete in the 800m event for Sri Lanka.

At the 60th Inter-State Athletics Championship, held recently in Patiala, India, Liyanarachchi won bronze in the Women's 800 meters event.
