Next four days are crucial says the Army Chief

Commander of Sri Lanka Army Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva stated that all individuals attached to the Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre in Kandakadu have been identified.

 

The Army Chief said that all detainees at the rehbilitation center have undergone PCR testing and the test results of 378 individuals who had links with 116 people who had visited the detainees are to be recieved. 

 

Provided that the above results are positive, more individuals who had associated them will be throughly monitored within the upcoming two days. 

 

He also said that the next 4 days are decisive and pivotal for the said process.

 

The Army Commander urged the general public to follow the gudelines set by the health authorities as required.
