196 more Covid-19 cases at the Treatment and Rehabilitation Center in Kandakadu

Another 196 individuals at the Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre in Kandakadu have tested positive for COVID-19, the Department of Government Information announced on July 10. 

 

The Director General of Health Services, Dr. Anil Jasinghe stated that the inmates and the staff are being subjected to  PCR tests and that there is a tendency of more fresh cases being reported from the rehabilitation centre. 

 

A total of 252 coronavirus patients a the Kandakadu Rehabilitation Centre have been confirmed so far.
