No record of any letter on 2011 CWC match-fixing claims made by the Ex-Sports Minister - ICC

ICC Anti-Corruption Unit General Manager Alex Marshall stated that the ICC has not been presented with any evidence to support the claims made in relation to  the 2011 Cricket World Cup Final match.

 

“At this time, we have not been presented with any evidence that supports the claims made or which would merit launching an investigation under the ICC Anti-Corruption Code.” he said.

 

He added that there is no record of any letter regarding the said matter sent by the then Sports Minister of Sri Lanka Mahindananda Aluthgamage to the Internantional Cricket Council.
