New Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Vietnam meets Foreign Minister

The newly appointed Ambassador of Vietnam to Sri Lanka called on the Minister of External Affairs Dinesh Gunawardena on 15 July 2021 at the Ministry of External Affairs.

 Welcoming the Ambassador of Vietnam, Minister Gunawardena thanked Vietnam for its continued support to Sri Lanka on all multilateral platforms. Mr. Gunawardena focused on projects that further strengthen the bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Vietnam, especially in the areas of agriculture, fisheries and defense.

 The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry of External Affairs, Colombo and the Embassy of Vietnam.
