Sri Lanka takes steps to attract digital tourists

This program is to be launched by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau.

Announcing the Cabinet decisions, the Minister of Tourism said, "People who use digital technology for livelihood and travel around the world as tourists are referred to as digital tourists and facilitating them is a growing trend in the tourism industry."

They say that this will enable Sri Lanka to earn more foreign exchange.
