Three arrested for playing thief police

According to Senior DIG Ajith Rohana, Wattala Police have arrested three persons from Kurunegala and Sedawatte who were involved in robberies claiming to be police officers.

Authorities also seized the fake identity cards used by them to impersonate police officers.

Ajith Rohana said that several other complaints have been received regarding such incidents.
