NEC informs police not to summon Rishad Bathiudeen over Easter attacks until August 10

The National Elections Commission has instructed Sri Lanka Police to postpone the summoning of Ex-Minister Rishad Bathiudeen in relation to the 2019 April 21st Attacks, until August 10.

 

The above decision has been reached by the National Elections Commission  following Ex-Minister Bathiurdeen's request.

 

Accordingly, the NEC has stated that the President and the Attorney General have been informed of the aforesaid decision.
