Mrs. World contestants speak out and praise Jury

A group of twelve contestants who called a press conference said that the organizers had informed them that there should be an active marriage and the presence of the husband was needed.

 

However, at the second round, there was no interest about the ‘active marriage’ and the organizers have not acted according to the rules.

 

Sinhala Translation

 

Some of the judges could not understand Sinhala and translators were not on the stage and it’s a puzzle how the translations were done, said the second runner up said a contestant.

 

There was also no auditor to do the calculations and this time there was no award for best supportive husband while most candidates wanted to present husband and family on stage.

 

Asked if there were violent reactions from the husbands after the event the contestant’s said that such things never happened. The first runner up said that it was unfair to crown her and later de-crown her.
