Meteorological Department warns of strong lightning

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for thundershowers at several places in the North, North Central and Eastern Provinces.

The warning is valid from noon today until 7.30 am tomorrow and the Meteorological Department warns the public to take precautionary measures during thunderstorms.
